I.D. Ciobanu is an Australian who has spent roughly twenty-five years each in Australia and the United States and has lived in Romania for the past decade. He wrote the eight-book First Crossing largely part-time over approximately eighteen months, drawing on a long engagement with contemporary Romanian life, history and cultural traditions.
The work is currently unpublished. Its editorial, website, publishing and marketing preparations are being developed ahead of beta and advance review programmes.
